This is a kind of simple thing to do, but not everyone knows this. If you want to change the favicon on ServiceNow, which is website icon in the browser, here are some instructions to do just that.
GET Favicon
Option 1: Google S2 Converter
Enter link in browser bar. Substitute www.servicenow.com with the site you want o get the favicon from
http://www.google.com/s2/favicons?domain=www.servicenow.com
Option 2: Root Directory
Enter /favicon.ico in front of target website URL. Like this: https://www.servicenowelite.com/favicon.ico
Right click and save.
Option 3: Page Source
Go to the website
Right click anywhere on the page
Click "View Source" or "View Page Source"
Search (Ctrl+F) for "shortcut icon"
Right click and save link as
Set Favicon
Upload Image
Left Navigator Bar > System UI > Images and click New.
Enter a Name for your image. Valid names must end in .gif, .png, .jpg, .ico or .bmp.
Click the link in the Image field, then select and upload the image.
Click Update.
Update ServiceNow Client
Left Navigator Bar > System Properties > System.
In System Properties > System, there is a property: Icon image displayed in bookmarks and browser address bar. This property is also known as: glide.product.icon
Set the property to your file uploaded and save.

Service Portal
Left Navigator Bar > Service Portal > Portals.
Select your Service Portal
Update the Icon and/or Logo
Click Save
